Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions

These Terms govern your use of DataPilot.com and the desktop workspace. By accessing the website or installing the desktop app you accept these terms.

Last updated: January 28, 2026

1. Account eligibility & seats

You must be at least 18 to sign up. The first person in a company seat becomes the admin who can invite teammates. Seats map to named users and may be activated on a limited number of devices.

2. Licenses

We grant a limited, non-exclusive license to use the desktop app under your plan. The launcher may perform periodic license checks. You may not share license keys, remove protections, or bypass activation.

3. Service scope & data

DataPilot helps you document databases, schedule exports, and manage notifications while keeping query results inside your database unless you choose to export. You remain responsible for your data and compliance with applicable laws.

AI features produce draft suggestions and must be reviewed. If you provide your own AI key, we act as a conduit to your provider.

4. Acceptable use

Do not abuse the service, upload malicious content, or attempt to reverse engineer the product. Respect rate limits and plan-based boundaries. We may throttle or suspend accounts that jeopardize stability or security.

5. Privacy & subprocessors

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect/secure data. For subprocessors see this page.

6. Payments & changes

Paid plans renew automatically. Cancelling keeps the plan active until the end of the period. We may change prices or features with reasonable notice.

7. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided as-is. We disclaim implied warranties and limit liability to the amount you paid for the service or €50 if you are on the Free plan. This applies even if remedies fail their essential purpose.

8. Indemnification & termination

You agree to indemnify DataPilot for claims arising from your unlawful use or breach. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations or non-payment. Sections that survive include IP, fees, disclaimers, and governing law.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Disputes go to courts in Rimini unless mandatory consumer protection law dictates otherwise.
